At the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind, learning does not stop when the school year ends. From June 17th – 23rd we will provide a one-week free summer camp to 80 students throughout South Carolina, ages 6-14, who are challenged with a sensory disability. The purpose of camp is to bring children together who have a sensory disability in a common setting to learn from each other, develop lasting friendships, and to broaden camper's horizons by participating in a variety of exciting activities they may otherwise not have a chance to experience.
